Description
Little Red Riding Hood by Paul Patterson
Join us at Chapel Street Methodist Church for a very special production of the well-known fairytale.
This family performance is suitable for all ages. Roald Dahl’s quirky and witty adaption of Little Red Riding Hood in his ‘Revolting Rhymes’ is performed in a colourful, tuneful musical version for narrator and small orchestra.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Kesha Darling for this event. Kesha grew up in Cornwall, surrounded by street performers, joining Penzance- based ‘Bash Street Theatre’ in her teens. She subsequently trained at Circomedia in Bristol, specialising in acrobatics and then in Paris at the renowned L’Ecole Jacques Lecoq, home of French theatre and comedy. She has since returned to live and work in Cornwall, founding ‘The Lonely Clown Club’, which brings different kinds of theatre to a wide range of audiences.
Two performances at 3pm and 4pm
Words by Roald Dahl
Music by Paul Patterson
Narrated by Kesha Darling
with Chapel Street Ensemble
